A short video, shot by John O’Shea and Sam Meech, was screened on the occasion of the Annual Dinner Dance of Brothers Pearse GAA Gaelic Football Club, Huddersfield. The video showed elements from the weekend in September 2007 when the Naomh Anna Leitir Móir Gaelic Football team travelled over from Connemara to play a game against Brothers Pearse.

- Connemara Connection - is a documentary project exploring the close links between the gaelic speaking people of Connemara, on the west coast of Ireland and the town of Huddersfield in the north of England. The documentary is scheduled to be completed during 2008.

The photoshoot took place at Geek Chic’s new offices at Rodney Street and involved working in close collaboration with Gemma and Robin of Geek Chic and Tom from Sauce.

Various objects were precisely arranged to communicate the ‘Geek Chic’ concept and support the website navigation.

Before Christmas, 29Sunbeam took some photographs for the View Two Gallery on Liverpool’s Mathew Street, capturing it’s distinctive exhibition spaces and bar area for their forthcoming brochure. The publication details the gallery’s exhibition and events programme up until December 2008.

29Sunbeam worked with videosmith Sam Meech on a project called MusicSEEN.

The idea was to provide basic camera skills training, video editing training, camera equipment and editing facilities to Big Issue vendors and enable them to film live performances of Liverpool bands.

They were able to prepare for the live shoots by filming a private performance of the band ‘Wave Machines.’

Participants (all of whom are Big Issue vendors) went on to document performances by ‘Sparkwood & 21‘ and ‘Revenge Tragedies‘ at Liverpool’s Barfly venue. They were able to edit tracks from each band back at Liverpool’s Big Issue office.

Artist Sam Skinner called upon the photographic expertise of 29Sunbeam to produce this billboard scale image of the Daresbury Estate - site of the 2007 Creamfields Festival. The finished print is seen being installed by workers from billboard poster company Comaish prior to the opening of the Cream Exhibition at the Site Gallery, Albert Dock, Liverpool.
